Corporate sustainability

INclusion INcorporated has been an early supporter of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and works to incorporate them into our corporate planning and priorities, as well as advocating for clients to undertake these within their work.


Our corporate sustainability practices include:

  • Virtual deliveries and meetings whenever possible to reduce unnecessary travel.
  • Sharing of resources, tools, and documents via software solutions to reduce printing.
  • Our team is based remotely, so we are not adding to office space consumption, transportation to an office, or additional utility draws.
  • Reducing the use of disposable products, reusing products and recycling waste is a priority for our team members.

INclusion INcorporated is focused on social responsibility in several ways:

  • We host a free monthly speaker series #BridgesOfBelonging and donate to a charity each month to thank our guests for contributing their time. We are proud of the social impact we are having through this series.
  • Our team is built on the foundation of shared values. Each staff member or Collaborator agrees to how they will work with us prior to signing on.
  • Equity Based Pay - We ask each team member what they want to be paid for work, and we work to meet or exceed that.
  • We center the voices of persons from diverse backgrounds.

We have created an equitable and safe workplace through:

  • Being intentional about building a team who has diverse skills, locations, and lived experiences.
  • Being intentional about checking in with each person and to supporting them in the ways they want to be supported.
  • Supporting learning and growth opportunities for team members through inclusion in DEI trainings we deliver, hosting internal discussion and learnings, inviting each member to share their expertise, or lived experiences.
  • Inviting team members to work on projects that might stretch them and walking alongside them to support their growth and development through that process.
  • Inviting people to share how they want to identify and being diligent about recognizing them in that way.
  • Providing options for communications, and flexibility for work schedules.
  • Creating safe spaces for all discussions, and all identities to be who they are, in whatever ways they need or want to engageBeing intentional about building a team who has diverse skills, locations, and lived experiences.
